What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Wednesday rolling around again. Joining up with Julia and the group at Stamping Ground for another trip around the world sneaking a look at the desks of other crafty people. I am back in Michigan again after a lovely two weeks visiting my daughter in Minnesota.

My desk isn't that creative, just a few things waiting to be put away and some leftover chocolates I couldn't help dipping in to. I am still settling in and sorting out. I did finish my scarf in Minnesota but had to leave it as no room in my bags - really, I had to push down to get one closed!

I have been knitting on this one since I've been back. I really like these. They are so warm!

I also finished another cross stitch while I was in Minnesota. This one is a Lizzie Kate design. I am so glad I am finally getting some of these done! Now I have to work on getting them framed and displayed. I read quite a bit while I was away but that was on my Kindle. The goal is to read some of the books on my many bookcases....if only there were a few more hours in the day!

  8. Oh, I get you completely about wanting more hours...they days are just flying at the moment because we're so busy with the new house and other things. Perhaps I need to schedule some down time! I'm so pleased you had a great time with your daughter, has she settled ok in Minnesota? Your knitting is lovely - it did make me laugh that you had to leave some behind because of your over full case though, lol!

  9. I certainly agree wit the more hours in a day, or at least a longer time that I can keep my eyes open! I find I am pretty much done by 8pm, then off to my nice warm bed to watch TV! I'm sure the scarf will be appreciated in Minnesota! Thanks for sharing! Lindart #40

  10. How fun to spend time with kids! Your bag must have been really full if you couldn't get your scarf in, maybe you should have worn it. Thanks for the visit and have a great rest of the week!

  24. Loving that purple wool. I always love seeing knitting projects. I'm too uncoordinated to manage two needles. I'll be content with admiring others work.

  25. I joined a group on Facebook that has a 52-book challenge for 2017. I'm hopelessly behind LOL. I can only manage a book every 2-3 weeks. I only read on my Kindle as most of the reading I do is at night and I don't have proper lighting otherwise. Good job on the cross stitch (I said that with my best American accent LOL!) Shame you had to leave your scarf behind but perhaps your daughter can make use of it or save it till your next visit - though you probably won't need it by then. Thanks for visiting last Wednesday - I couldn't get back earlier as the school holidays took priority, but I'm back in full swing now and hope to see you again tomorrow! zsuzsa #23
